GRODAN - Sheet of 150 rockwool cubes - 36x36x40mm
A hydroponic medium par excellence, used in professional horticulture (inexpensive, reusable and sterile), rockwool has long been a tried-and-tested substrate:
- optimal oxygenation at root level;
- good water and nutrient retention;
- anti-rot property;
- avoids transplant shock (cubes fit into each other).
Nevertheless, rockwool requires a few precautions when used, especially when dry: masks and gloves are recommended, as it is irritating to the skin and respiratory tract; when damp, it remains harmless.
Presentation: 4x4 cm diameter cubes, sold in packs of 150 on a divisible plastic tray (for germination and cuttings).
